Boss Monster Invades NYCC 2024

There is nothing quite like New York Comic-Con, and armed with a mic, trusty camera and load of pre-production prep, I took to the Javits Center to record my experience at New York’s biggest pop culture weekend..

The key to a successful shoot like this lies in understanding your equipment, having a solid game plan, and staying flexible enough to adapt to any situation. I approached the day with a mix of excitement and intention—knowing I wanted to have fun, but also with a focus on capturing the full scope of the convention. From vendors and artists to fans and influencers, I made sure to highlight all aspects of the event.

The footage I captured that day allowed for a seamless edit, and building a narrative around the spontaneous, unplanned moments made the project especially rewarding. It’s a testament to how, with the right preparation and creative vision, you can create content that resonates deeply with your audience.
