Rollout Season 3

Rollout was already an established show on UpUpDownDown when I joined the team, but as a longtime D&D fan and experienced Dungeon Master, I knew I could bring something special to future seasons. My deep knowledge of the game was crucial in turning Rollout into the appointment viewing it became. One key enhancement I introduced was the use of live-to-tape recording technology, which gave the show a more dynamic, live-event feel. This not only made the episodes flow more smoothly but also allowed us to turn around edits much faster, a crucial advantage as the pandemic took hold.

Shooting in a larger, controlled space also allowed us to fully immerse our talent in the experience. Atmosphere is vital to the storytelling in roleplaying games, and by creating an engaging environment for our players, we were able to draw viewers deeper into the game.

And yes, to answer the burning question—Freddie Prinze Jr. was an absolute pleasure to work with. Just a genuinely awesome guy. 😊
